Roberta Schwartz, PhD., MHS, executive vice president and chief innovation officer of Houston Methodist Hospital is the closing speaker at this year’s Vizient Connections Summit. Dr. Schwartz is responsible for overseeing all operations at the 924-bed hospital. In her role as chief innovation officer, she is responsible for advancing and expanding Houston Methodist’s digital innovation platforms, including telemedicine, artificial intelligence and big data. Houston Methodist is recognized by many national organizations for quality, safety and employee and patient satisfaction.
Each year Vizient provides the Norman Borlaug Humanitarian Award – a $50,000 grant to a nonprofit organization that exhibits extraordinary behavior in helping others and is making a difference in the world. Join us as we present the award to this year’s winner at the closing general session.
