The 2019 fall Connections Education Summit has been redesigned to focus exclusively on education. Content is member-sourced, member-focused, member-presented, and is ultimately focused on the innovative perspectives and strategies required to improve clinical outcomes, ensure patient safety and reduce costs.
Presenting almost double the amount of Power Huddle sessions - plus poster sessions offered at summit and online - attendees will chose from a broad array of education topics, all designed to improve health care performance.
Build your own customized learning plan from a wide range of areas, including:
Educational sessions are presented in 30 minute peer-to-peer Power Huddles with a focus on member interests and unique member insights, solutions and lessons learned. The majority of these educational sessions will be eligible for continuing education credits.
Educational posters are available for viewing throughout the duration of the Summit, with project authors present at dedicated times to discuss their work, answer your questions and share their results. Attending these interactive poster presentation sessions allows you to claim continuing education credits.
New for 2019: We’re excited to present the debut of ePosters – an interactive, digital viewing format that provides deeper insights into poster presentations. You’ll experience the poster displays in more detail than ever before!
Continuing education credit types will include:
Targeted, invitation-only network and user group meetings will be held in conjunction with the summit. If you are eligible to attend any of these meetings, you will receive a separate invitation and will need to register separately for these meetings in addition to registering for the summit.
Members are eligible for funding only one time per year at either the spring or fall Summits; below we outline funding opportunities available for members who meet the criteria for the fall summit.
If you attended an eligible meeting at the spring Summit and received funding you are not eligible to receive it again in the fall…with one exception. If you received funding at the spring Summit and are selected to present a power huddle or a poster at the fall Summit, you are eligible to receive the full travel funding benefit in the fall.
