Updated format for Connections Business Summit
Improving your organizational performance is a powerful motivator for attending the Connections Business Summit. Updates to our format will now better equip attendees to accomplish their organizational objectives through shared information and trusted business partnerships.
Our spring summit is designed specifically for Vizient members who are focused on supplier interaction and the benefits these supplier partnerships offer for achieving their goals this coming year and beyond.
We’ve expanded the scope of our Member | Supplier Connect for maximum exposure between members and suppliers. All attendees will participate, allowing members to represent their organization, and their specific needs, to the supplier community.
An additional feature of our Connections Business Summit will be member business meetings, focused on supply chain, analytics, and pharmacy operations and performance.
All attendees will enjoy a seamless flow of general sessions, networking opportunities and social events for an enhanced experience.
The Member | Supplier Connect provides a forum for members to engage one-on-one with Vizient supplier partners from across the industry. Whether your organization has a need now, or anticipates one in the future, this unique exchange offers the ability to build meaningful connections, learn about the latest products and services and share ideas.
How it works
All members attending the 2020 Vizient Connections Business Summit will participate in the Member | Supplier Connect. This provides the opportunity to represent your organizations’ business needs to Vizient supplier partners.
If you are planning a project in 2020, or just thinking through the challenges you now face, this venue offers you a single venue to collect the best information available to make informed decisions.
Each member organization will have a designated table with signage where suppliers may stop by for informal visits, prepared with information you provide.
Sessions will take place as following. Members are expected to be present at these times.

|Tuesday, March 31||3:15-5 p.m.|
|Wednesday, April 1||2:15-3:45 p.m.|
During registration you will answer a few questions about yourself and the areas(s) of your organization that you represent. This information will be used to create a participant guide to ensure you’re visited by the supplier partners with the solutions and resources you’re seeking.
Prior to the Connections Business Summit, registered members will receive more information about the Member | Supplier Connect including information on what to expect, preparation tips to ensure you optimize your experience and details regarding table assignments and other logistics.

The most respected suppliers of products and services contract with Vizient to bring our members unmatched solutions, and these suppliers are available to you during the summit. Use this forum to:
Member meetings are a key part of the Connections Business Summit. These meetings are by invitation only with each council or committee chair providing the names of eligible attendees.
This year, summit registration and invitations to attend a Member Business Meeting are together in a single Registration form.

The spring summit is focused on interaction between members and suppliers. The Member | Supplier Connect has been designed for all members to represent their organization at this event. Funding is based on member participation.
Are you eligible to receive funding for the spring Connections Business Summit?
Members are eligible for funding only one time per year, and for those who meet the criteria for the spring or fall event. If you receive funding in the spring you are not eligible to receive it again in the fall unless you are selected as a presenter for a power huddle session or a poster.
Member funding for our fall summit is still under review. Details will be provided prior to the fall summit registration launch.
Members that attend business meetings during the spring summit may be eligible to receive additional funding only with permission from their council or user group. Please contact your meeting chairperson if you have questions.
